Bucephalus for iOS
Bucephalus is a unique physics-based granular sound design tool. Version 2.0 presents a brand new audio engine featuring granular-based synthesis utilising both a built-in library and your own custom samples. It includes an array of custom built effects including a "Chamber" reverb, three Filters (LPF, HPF and BPF), Distortion and master effects (Compression and Soft Saturation).
Granular Synthesis The resonance editor allows samples to be selected from the built-in high quality custom sounds as well as user imported sounds (via iTunes File Sharing).
Custom RST Effects Includes a 3-stage "Chamber" Reverb alongside a switchable LPF, HPF & Bandpass filter with adjustable cutoff and resonance. Pre and Post Fuzz Gain stages and a Master Compression/Soft Saturation unit round off these strangely attractive effects.
Customised Tuning Custom scales can be designed and implemented by hitting different walls. Samples can be pitch shifted over 10 octaves and microtonal control is available.
